Phil's vocal sound a little raw and reaches those higher and longer notes with gutso. Disc 2 is superb, expecially In The Cage. Singing through the mid section more heartfelt, passionate and raises the hair on my neck on the 'brother john' part every time. Slightly contrasting to the way Gabriel delivered it live, but like i said in a perfectly good way and personally i prefer this version.

Sure, it's a bit grainy and dated-looking, but the image is clean and stable, and there's a surprising amount of detail that has been brought out of this old footage. The Audio Wowee. This disc offers two gorgeous uncompressed audio options, LPCM 2. The stereo option is a little more forceful while the surround mix goes for a more enveloping ambience. Both versions are dynamic and have been beautifully restored and remastered. The disc also offers English, German, Spanish, French, and Italian subtitles, but they only appear during the spoken interludes and not during the songs.

The studio version is a bit flavorless -- it sounds cold and the back vocals don't work out very well -- but live it reached decent energy levels, thanks to Collins' powerful vocals and an extra ad lib section leading to a punchy conclusion the studio version fades out.
